Dear VeinInnovations Staff,

I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude for restoring the health of my legs. As you may recall back in February I was faced with a hopeless situation trying to get treatment for my diseased and swollen saphenous veins with dysfunctional valves and venous reflux. The only option available to me in Columbus was vein stripping. I could not go through with that operation when the surgeon explained to me the number of incisions and the length of the incisions that would be required to strip the veins. Not to mention I would have to be away from work after the operation.

I called VeinInnovations and spoke with Kate Wood about the hopeless state I was in trying to get medical treatment for my veins. She reassured me by telling me VeinInnovations could help me with your state of the art closure procedure. She said that you can close the veins with the VNUS closure procedure which would be a minimally invasive procedure with no scarring and little discomfort. She said I could return to work the next day. Well, needless to say I was encouraged as i had no where else to turn at this point. Soon thereafter, I was in Atlanta discussing the procedure with Kate and David Martin. The more I heard the more optimistic I became.

The closure procedures were scheduled and completed on both legs. Everything turned out the way your staff explained it to me. The procedure is second to none. I would not hesitate to go through it again, even though the commute was 260 miles. I have more energy in my legs and am walking farther now than I have walked in many years. My legs feel lighter and no longer cramp after walking. The swelling and pain are gone. I would like to give a special thanks to those responsible for restoring my health by performing the VNUS procedures including David Martin, Kate Wood, and Suzie. You all work well together and make a great team. I would also like to thank David for including me in the perforator closure procedure. Your staff’s knowledge and expertise in treating the complex venous system is unsurpassed. I would recommend VeinInnovations staff and VNUS procedure to anyone with my problem. Get the word out before someone else makes the vein stripping mistake. Vein Stripping is an option, but it’s the wrong option. Keep up the good work. Thanks again for everything. I salute you all!!!
