Sclerotherapy This form of treatment involves using a micro needle to inject a special kind of fluid, called a sclerosant, into the vein. This fluid causes the vein walls to become non-functional and to gradually fade away. Sclerotherapy has been available since the 1930's but is not an effective treatment for large varicose veins.

The sclerosant used at VEININNOVATIONS is called Polidocanol, (aethoxysclerol) which was developed as a local anesthetic. It doesn't burn or sting as some other sclerosants do.

We are as anxious for you to have good results as you are to have them. You can return to normal activities right away, but we ask you to refrain from vigorous exercise or hot baths for a few days, and to wear your compression stockings for 48 hours.
